A new luxury 5-star hotel in the Appenzell region is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join its pre-opening team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new property with an exceptional culinary concept, working in state-of-the-art kitchen facilities.
Your Role
You will manage your own station with precision and creativity, delivering dishes that meet the highest gastronomic standards. Flexibility is key—you’ll also be expected to step into other kitchen sections to cover colleagues when needed, ensuring seamless operations across the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your assigned station.
* Support other kitchen sections when team members are away, ensuring consistent service.
* Maintain rigorous hygiene and safety standards.
* Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff.
* Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on menu execution and seasonal offerings.
What You Bring
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in upscale hotels or fine dining restaurants.
* Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively across multiple kitchen sections.
* A commitment to excellence in flavor, presentation, and consistency.
* Strong teamwork skills and a proactive, reliable work ethic.
