Your responsibilities
* Responsibility for defined areas of the monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss accounting standards (OR)
* Preparation and reconciliation of accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and general ledger accounts
* Ensuring high data quality as well as compliance with internal policies and control frameworks
* Contact person for internal and external audits
* Support and coaching of team members in accounting matters as well as promoting a culture of quality, structure, and continuous learning within the team
* Maintaining close communication with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and contributing to process optimisation in collaboration with other departments (SCM, Sales, etc.)
* Analysis and improvement of end-to-end financial processes (Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report)
* Participation in ERP developments and digitalisation initiatives
* You critically question existing accounting processes and tools, bring optimisation ideas, and drive their implementation
Your profile
* Advanced professional training in finance and accounting (at least a federal diploma in finance and accounting or equivalent)
* 6–8 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international and/or industrial environment
* Sound knowledge of Swiss accounting standards (OR), direct & indirect tax topics
* Proficient use of SAP ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
* Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and high reliability
* Enjoyment in knowledge transfer and supporting colleagues
* Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
* Clear communication and cooperative attitude
* Fluent German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
