We are looking for an Asset Technology Engineer to join one of our vessels.
Responsibilities Provide specialised technical support for the development, improvement and maintenance of Saipem fleet and related equipment and systems.
Cooperate with all other internal functions to identify technical needs for vessels, land rigs, equipment upgrades or new builds.
Provide technical support on fleet upgrade and maintenance.
Develop feasibility studies and conceptual designs to meet internal/external client requirements, defining execution plans to develop new capabilities and innovative solutions.
Implement ordinary/extraordinary maintenance programs, coordinate subcontractors and ensure that the quality of equipment/rig maintenance is aligned with international standards and best practices.
Update data concerning the certification of machines and equipment and keep traceability of tasks performed.
Identify materials/services necessary to the project and, in collaboration with Procurement, monitor the purchasing process until order completion.
Coordinate and supervise ordinary and extraordinary maintenance to ensure full efficiency of the equipment.
Provide technical support to the project for maintenance implementation and corrective actions within assigned budgets.
Cooperate with internal functions to guarantee fleet equipment database updating.
Provide technical support to tendering activities.
Coordinate subcontractors for installation and commissioning of related equipment, in accordance with class rules and standards (e.g., DNV, ABS) when required.
Promptly notify spare part requirements based on programmed activities and operating conditions to compensate deviations from routine and special maintenance demands.
Plan actions to prepare assets for storage, including long-term preservation and reactivation into operations.
Notify obsolete equipment with requests for disposal proposals and assistance for intercompany sales and agreements (shipping coordination, asset value assessment, etc.).
Implement corrective actions to address safety alert bulletins, failure reports and non-conformance reports.
Prepare and issue operating procedures, corporate criteria and best practices for fleet optimization.
Qualifications Languages: English language skills required (and any other specified by project).
What We Can Offer 12 months contract (renewable). We offer 35/35 rotation based on 12 hours a day / 84 hours per week (12X7).
