Job Description: B2 EASA Licensed Avionics Engineer (Airbus) - Switzerland
We are seeking a skilled and experienced B2 EASA Licensed Avionics Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Airbus aircraft and possess the following skills:
1. Comprehensive understanding of avionics systems and components.
2. Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing avionics equipment.
3. Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and standards.
4. Ability to interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
5. Experience with software updates and system upgrades.
6. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
7. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
8. Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on avionics systems to ensure aircraft safety and compliance.
9. Diagnose and rectify avionics defects, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
10. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement technical modifications and upgrades.
11. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements and regulatory changes.
12. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Qualifications:
13. Part 66 Cat B2 EASA License with type ratings on Airbus aircraft.
14. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in avionics engineering.
15. Fluent in English; knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
