Job Title ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant
Job Specifics & Responsibilities Design and shape the technical architecture of the ServiceNow platform and support complex development approaches in collaboration with business analysts and functional consultants.
Act as a trusted Technical Advisor/Expert.
Implement complex functionalities to meet customer requirements using the front-end and back-end capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
Implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (cloud or on-premise) using technologies like SOAP and REST Web services, JDBC, LDAP, etc.
Produce technical documentation.
Coach/mentor ServiceNow Technical consultants.
Working Relationships Internal

ServiceNow Architects
Junior and confirmed ServiceNow Technical Consultants
External
CTOs, customer architects and other stakeholders
Customer developers and IT technical staff
ServiceNow support team and technical experts
Your Background Education and Experience University degree in IT engineering.
Minimum 10 years’ experience as IT developer and 3 years’ experience on ServiceNow.
3 years’ experience in consulting external customers.
Technical Skills Relational DB modeling and related technologies.
Event-driven and Object-Oriented programming.
Web technologies: JavaScript, XML, AngularJS, Jelly
AJAX experience.
Scripting: PowerShell and Unix shell.
Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO knowledge.
Experience with legacy systems, batch files, and web services (SOAP/REST).
Networking basics, modern protocols, and email (SMTP, POP3).
ITIL knowledge is a plus.
Personal Skills Strong commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Experience dealing with technical end-users in a service-oriented role.
Ability to switch between multiple tasks/projects/contexts; curious and self-learner.
Leadership capability and the ability to work without direct supervision.
Strong interpersonal communication skills; comfortable solving problems with customers.
Ability to travel as necessary (not integral).
Fluent in German and English; another European language is an asset.
