Aurigin.ai is a Zurich-born startup on a mission to restore trust in digital communication by protecting high-stakes organizations from AI-generated voice fraud in real-time. Banks, government agencies, and enterprises use our deepfake detection to stop account takeovers, CEO impersonations, and fake news before they cause damage.

Why we need you:
We’ve built a family of products from a real-time deepfake detection API to native desktop apps (Electron & Swift) and a web based platform. Now we need a hands-on Lead Engineer to scale it all. You’ll code, architect, and lead by example while guiding and challenging our team of external developers.
This role is about more than coding; it's about crafting future-proof architecture, unblocking others, and making sure our products scale, stay robust, and ship on time. If you love getting your hands dirty with real code, while keeping an eye on the big picture, we want to talk.
What you will do:
* Own our tech stack end-to-end: From Python APIs to ElectronJS and Swift desktop apps, and our web app/backend infrastructure (code reviews, CI/CD, testing, logging, observability, etc.)
* Design and build: Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure systems across our codebase
* Lead by example: Write clean, efficient, production-grade code across the stack
* Guide the team: Technically challenge and support external developers to deliver great code
* Make it robust: Set up the right dev processes, testing, and deployment pipelines
* Connect the dots: Collaborate with product and AI teams to bring features to life fast and well
About you:
* Experienced builder: 5+ years building and deploying full-stack products end-to-end
* Tech stack: Solid with System architecture, Python, ElectronJS, and ideally Swift. Familiarity with Docker, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and serverless architecture is a plus.
* Architecture mindset: You know what “clean code” really means and how to avoid technical debt
* MLOps awareness: Experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production environments; understanding of model lifecycle and model-serving concepts
* AI-literate: You don’t need to train models, but you understand the fundamentals of AI/ML systems and can work closely with data scientists
* Structured thinker in unstructured space: You bring order, prioritize well, and thrive in ambiguity
* Leadership without ego: You’ve led a team of 3+ developers, challenged decisions respectfully, and made devs around you better
* Startup-ready: You’re fast, resourceful, self-driven, and enjoy taking ownership
* Human-first: You collaborate well, give feedback constructively, and care about impact
Nice-to-have:
* Experience with desktop app development in production
* Exposure to real-time or audio-heavy applications
* Prior work in cybersecurity, voice tech, or fraud prevention
* Contributions to open-source or developer community
