Sinovoltaics is a Dutch-German managed quality assurance and technical compliance consulting firm headquartered in Hong Kong, with offices in Shanghai, Lausanne, and Austin. We specialize in de-risking solar photovoltaics and battery energy storage (BESS) assets, ensuring confidence in PV and BESS investments. Our clients include developers, EPCs, utilities, financiers, and insurance companies, all focused on achieving Zero Risk Solar & BESS projects.
About the vacancy:
As our Media Manager, you will be a key part of the marketing team, responsible for managing and enhancing our media presence in the PV and BESS sectors in Europe and the USA. This role involves developing and coordinating press releases, webinars, and exhibitions, social media content, and overseeing content for our upcoming website revamp. Your expertise will help strengthen Sinovoltaics' presence across critical markets.
Job Title: Media Manager
Location: Remote / International
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Employment: Full-time (40 hours a week)
Responsibilities:
1. Press and Media Relations: Develop, write, and distribute press releases, and establish relationships with leading online and offline media outlets within the PV and BESS industries, particularly across Europe and the USA.
2. Webinar Management: Plan and execute webinars with a focus on educational content for our audience. Identify and collaborate with industry-leading companies for joint webinars, securing expert speakers to add valuable insights.
3. Event and Exhibition Planning: Oversee the planning and execution of Sinovoltaics' participation in major industry exhibitions (min. 2x per year), primarily held in Europe and the USA. This includes pre-event coordination, on-site support, and post-event follow-up.
4. Website Project Management: Lead the coordination and development of Sinovoltaics' new website, scheduled for launch in 2025. Ensure that the website aligns with our brand's voice and messaging and functions as a robust resource for clients.
5. Content Editorial Control: Provide editorial oversight for website, social media, and media content, ensuring high quality, relevance, and alignment with Sinovoltaics' brand voice. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all media.
Requirements:
1. Industry Experience: Prior experience in the PV and/or BESS industry is highly preferred.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent proficiency in English, both written and oral, is essential.
3. Writing and AI Skills: Strong writing skills with experience in using advanced AI language models (LLMs) to aid in content creation.
4. Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated experience in marketing, with a track record of successful media campaigns, event planning, or digital content management.
5. Project Management Abilities: Capable of independently managing multiple media projects, from concept through execution, while collaborating effectively with other team members.
6. Social Media Writing: Reviewing social media content and design plan for consistency, accuracy, grammar, and adherence to Sinovoltaics' brand voice before posting it.
