Aufgaben
* Manage end-to-end procurement of sheet metal and welded assemblies / weldments
* Drive the complete sourcing process: demand and market analysis, RFQ/tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, award, and contract finalization
* Develop and implement commodity and supplier strategies (e.g. bundling, dual/multiple sourcing, make-or-buy decisions)
* Responsabilities: supplier qualification, performance reviews, escalation management, cost/value engineering (e.g. should-cost analysis)
* Participate in supplier audits (quality & process), support APQP/PPAP together with Quality and Engineering
* Work closely with Engineering, Production, Industrial Engineering, and Quality to secure series launches and product changes
* Conduct risk management regarding capacity, raw material availability, logistics, and geopolitical challenges
Qualifikation
* Technical background ideally combined with FH/University degree (e.g., commercial, mechanical/manufacturing/welding)
* Strong supplier management: qualification, development, audits.
* Proven experience in technical environments, ideally with welded and fabricated parts.
* German and English: business-fluent
* Ideally, experience with an ERP system (e.g., D365 or SAP).
