The opportunity
OurlocalproductgroupInsulation& Componentsisthetechnologyleaderin design andmanufactureofhighvoltagetransformerbushings.All renowned international companies of the electrical industry,active in power generation, transmission and distribution are among our customers. We have a top position in the high voltage bushing areas worldwide. The duration of the internship is 6 months.
How you’ll make an impact
1. Conduct literature review on the impact of impurities on epoxy resins
2. Develop experimental plans to investigate the effects of any impurities on dielectric properties
3. Characterize the chemical and physical properties of the samples.
4. Analyze the structure-property relationships of fillers and properties
5. Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings
Your background
6. Enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
7. Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and materials science principles
8. Basic knowledge in thermoset polymers
9. Experience with laboratory techniques including sample preparation, characterization, and testing
10. Hands on experience on the casting of materials and also on instruments like DSC and rheometer
11. Experience with Dielectric spectroscopy and DC conductivity is a plus
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
13. Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
