Research Scientist (Particle Physics)
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Particle Physics team. As a key member of our group, you will contribute to the design, assembly, operation, and analysis of particle physics experiments.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in experimental nuclear or particle physics, with extended experience in experiment design, assembly, operation, and analysis. Excellent programming skills in C++ and JavaScript are also essential, as is good knowledge of English and the ability to learn German quickly.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to support and further develop the MIDAS data acquisition system, as well as coordinate area activities and support experiments within the PiE5 area.

Responsibilities:
* Contribute to particle physics experiments, including PIONEER and other experiments
* Support and further develop the MIDAS data acquisition system
