In the Strategy and Impact department, you will work in a central position between Innosuisse and political and social stakeholders. You will monitor political developments, prepare strategic topics in a fact‑based manner tailored to the target audience, and support the Executive Board in political communication.
Through your stakeholder management and involvement in national and international networks, you will strengthen Innosuisse's positioning and networking and promote the further development of innovation promotion in Switzerland. You will also be responsible for implementing the sustainability strategy and managing other strategic and cross‑organisational projects.
The position is initially limited to one year, with the option of extension.
* Political communication: Systematic analysis of political developments and coordination of political affairs in terms of content and organisation (motions, consultation with authorities, consultations); preparation of short political reports, impact dossiers and position papers; support for the Executive Board and the Board of Directors in communicating strategically coordinated messages
* Stakeholder management: Establishing, maintaining and coordinating relationships with national and international networks and committees; ensuring good cooperation and exchange; representing the interests of Innosuisse in relevant circles
* Sustainability strategy: Developing and implementing the sustainability strategy; monitoring and reporting on key figures; deriving strategic measures and promoting synergies with other federal units
* Strategic and cross‑organisational projects: Management and coordination of strategic cross‑cutting projects; handling of various cross‑organisational topics with a longer‑term horizon; participation in Innosuisse's multi‑year planning; continuous improvement of processes
Our requirements:
We are looking for a strategically minded and communicative personality with a master's degree, ideally in political science, economics, law or communication. You have several years of experience in political communication, stakeholder management and public relations. You have a sound knowledge of the political system and legal processes of the federal government. Ideally, you also have in-depth insights into the Swiss innovation ecosystem and experience in the field of sustainability and innovation promotion. In your career to date, you have already successfully managed and implemented a number of strategic projects.
You are characterised by analytical and networked thinking and are confident in the political environment. You know how to communicate with different stakeholders and successfully coordinate their interests. Strong writing skills are one of your strengths, as is an independent, structured and solution‑oriented approach to work. Negotiation skills and a high level of implementation competence round off your profile.
Due to the editorial requirements of the position, you have a high level of proficiency in German or French (C1) and at least a B1 level in the other language. Knowledge of another official language, especially Italian, is an advantage. You also have a very good command of English (C1), particularly for the preparation of short political reports, impact dossiers and decision‑making documents.
