As Floor Manager, your mission is to actively participate in the development of the business, respecting the sense of tradition, quality and service that Hermès aims to promote.
Responsibilities
* People management and development: plan daily activities, set objectives and assign tasks; observe the team on the floor and provide ongoing feedback and coaching; participate in recruitment activities in partnership with the leadership team; provide induction for new arrivals and ensure integration; set development objectives, conduct performance appraisals, propose development plans, and identify training needs.
* Sales and Customer Experience: drive sales through the team, develop business strategy and action plans, foster client culture and clienteling, support the store team in difficult sales and complaint handling; plan morning briefings and coach on data accuracy and client reachability; contribute to business development through commercial actions and monitor performance indicators; propose department buying strategies based on past performance and market trends.
* Operations and Visual Merchandising: support store management in floor coverage and supervision; collaborate to improve end-to-end processes; encourage collaboration between managers and visual merchandising to enhance in-store experience.
Profile / Qualifications
* At least 5 years of relevant experience in high-end fashion, luxury industry or similar role.
* Fluency in German and English; a third language is an advantage.
* Strong management background, preferably with international and luxury fashion retail experience.
* Proficient with Excel / IT tools.
* Exemplary professionalism, presence on the floor, attitude, and presentation.
* Charismatic leadership on the sales floor and across interfaces; strong analytical skills and ability to define strategies.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team; professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, adaptability and teamwork.
