Key Responsibilities

* Deploy and configure servers, storage devices, and network equipment
">
* Perform break-fix tasks, such as power cycling and replacing faulty cables
">
* Update and record activities in relevant IT ticket management systems
">
* Provide support through phone, remote tools, or in-person at onsite
">
* Perform installations as needed, either through physical or network mediums
">
* Coordinate actual activity dates and timings, including arrival and departure times
">
* Label, patch, and asset-tag activities
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications
">
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical skills, including a good understanding of IT principles, infrastructure hardware architecture, and server/client operations in a domain environment.

* Good general understanding of IT principles, including networks, hardware, and domains
">
* Knowledge of infrastructure (data center and network) hardware architecture
">
* Knowledge of server/client operations in a domain environment, including Active Directory
">
* Understanding of current and legacy hardware infrastructure platforms
">
* Hands-on experience with installation and troubleshooting infrastructure equipment
">
* Excellent hands-on experience in IMAC and break-fix activities related to infrastructure environments
">
* Ability to identify and replace defective spares with provided good spares
">
* Knowledge of TCP/IP standards and networking
">
* Experience with tape management activities
">
* Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
">
* Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
">
* Able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and customers

* Able to work unsupervised

Academic Background
">
">
* Bachelor of Engineering/Technology/Science or equivalent work experience
