Role Overview
As CPO, you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end procurement strategy. You will build strategic supplier partnerships, ensure cost efficiency, negotiate high-value contracts, and establish robust procurement processes that align with our tech-first approach to construction. You must bring deep experience from a leading construction company and be fluent in either German or French to engage with local and regional suppliers.

Responsibilities
* Define and lead the overall procurement and supply chain strategy for the company.
* Build and manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics partners across Europe.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Finance to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
* Drive cost optimization, negotiate long-term contracts, and mitigate supply risks.
* Develop a digital procurement framework, leveraging software tools to automate and track purchasing.
* Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Establish KPIs and dashboards for spend analysis, vendor performance, and procurement efficiency.
* Hire and build a high-performing procurement team as the company scales.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in procurement / supply chain management in the construction industry.
* Proven leadership in procurement within a well-established construction firm.
* Strong understanding of construction materials, subcontracting, equipment procurement, and international sourcing.
* Track record of digital transformation or tech integration in procurement is a plus.
* Fluent in German or French (mandatory), with business proficiency in English.
* Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
