Comprising markets Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Germany and Switzerland, the CEE region plays a crucial role in CRH's global presence and growth strategy.
Jura Materials Group, part of the Central and Eastern Europe division at CRH Group, is a leading manufacturer of cement and building materials in Switzerland. With a workforce of approximately 700 employees across 30 sites, we are committed to shaping a more resilient and sustainable future.
We are now looking for an operationally savvy, strategic thinking and result orientated HR Director to lead our Swiss HR function and drive its continued transformation. Based in Aarau, this critical role is responsible for aligning HR with the business growth strategy, modernising people practices, and fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and care.
Reporting to the Managing Director of Jura and working closely with the CEE HR Director, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, build organisational capability, and ensure the HR function contributes directly to business success. You'll lead a team of 17 HR professionals and collaborate across functions, regions, and CRH Group HR teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

You will be a strong relationship builder, capable of influencing at senior levels and translating strategic goals into practical HR solutions. In addition, you will bring strong operational HR expertise to support, guide, and lead a best:in:class HR function-ensuring excellence in execution and delivering impactful, people:centric outcomes across the organization.

A university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

At least 5 years' experience in senior HR roles within international, matrixed organisations

Broad HR expertise across talent acquisition, organisational development, workforce planning, and change management

Experienced in steering an HR transformation, leading teams, developing future talent, and embedding modern HR operating models
:
Strong understanding of value creation, financial acumen (e.g. in managing personnel expenses), and how HR drives business performance

A collaborative approach, resilience under pressure, and the ability to lead through complexity

Ability to being fluent in English and German and at least basic in French
