About the Role:
Procurement Packaging Senior Manager
This is a key leadership position that oversees the development and execution of a robust packaging strategy for our company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, with expertise in direct sourcing and supplier relationship management.
The role involves driving strategic decisions, developing business plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective supply chain management. Strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement new sourcing strategies across packaging categories (Plastics & Global Aluminum tubes) to best serve the company's needs.
2. Deliver fiscal year targets and establish 3/5-year business plans for related spend.
3. Implement Supplier Relation Management program and drive Year on Year improvement in quality, service, and value.
4. Support business plan to improve ethical and environmental sourcing.
5. Implement governance and control including contractual agreements and policies.
Qualifications:
* First experience in Direct Procurement, at least 3 years.
* Proven experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization.
* Degree qualified preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or other relevant discipline.
* High degree of fluency of English is required, French is a plus.
