About the RoleSr. System Software Engineer responsible for developing digital tools supporting Medtronic Operations. Global role reporting to Digital Performance Management Director. Location: Tolochenaz, Switzerland.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development of Digital Performance Management tools such as OEE, KPI dashboards, Production Tracker, LiveLink platform.Collect data from automated equipment controllers, operator interfaces, MES, SPC.Act as SME and liaison with IT and stakeholders.Manage the application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, support).Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on design requirements.Generate policies, standards, and procedures for systems software engineering.Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and internal quality policies.Communicate status updates and impact of timeline delays to management.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent; or advanced degree with 2 years relevant experience.Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (or 2 years with an advanced degree).Strong understanding of backend technologies (.NET Core, Python, C#).Experience with SQL and data modeling.Knowledge of industry 4.0 technologies (IIoT sensors, PLC programming).Proficiency in Python.French and English fluency.Strong problem‑solving, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.Ability to travel across EMEA (~20%).Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary and flexible benefits package.
