We are an internationally renowned company headquartered in French-speaking Switzerland, in Cressier near Neuchâtel. We design, develop and manufacture centrifugal pumps and diaphragm control valves meeting high standards, which we supply to industry, the chemical sector and wastewater treatment.
To strengthen our Technical Office, we are looking for a:
Designer - Constructor & Apprentice Supervisor – 100 %
Tasks:
* Technical follow-up of orders (planning, coordination with project management and purchasing)
* Creation and modification of model, space requirement, assembly and manufacturing drawings
* Management of articles and bills of materials (creation, updating, monitoring changes)
* Participation in special studies and developments as well as continuous product improvement
* Collaboration with various departments (sales, purchasing, production, after-sales service, quality)
* Contribution to the quality of technical data (documentation, ERP, PLM)
* Supervision and monitoring of apprentice designers-constructors
* Development and updating of the training programme
* Skills assessment and exam preparation
* Coordination with vocational schools
Profile and skills:
* Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as designer-constructor
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
* Good command of CAD software as well as a PLM system
* Basic knowledge of an ERP system
* Precise, structured and reliable work
* Versatility, autonomy and sense of responsibility
* Pedagogy and good communication skills
* Experience in apprentice training or willingness to train in this area
* Languages: fluent French and English
