Product Manager Sport & Shoulder for the Swiss Market
For our Swiss Sport and Shoulder Reconstruction business, we are seeking a strong, passionate, customer-focused and communicative personality to join our successful Sports & Shoulder team, starting immediately or by agreement. Tasks
Responsible for several different product groups as well as product portfolio management over the entire life cycle
Serves as competent contact person (internally and externally) regarding products as well as for the entire business, with a focus on our arthroscopic and shoulder reconstruction business
Development of launch plans and product strategies in the field of Sport & Shoulder Reconstruction, monitoring and implementation of the strategy
Execution of high-quality new product launches as well as monitoring and implementation of the product strategy in the Swiss market
Support and close collaboration with Swiss based sales representatives
Responsible for market segmentation, targeting and product positioning in the Swiss market
Analysis of KPIs and in general financial analysis, fact‑based decision making
Build and maintain customer relationships with various stakeholders (physicians, senior OR staff, buyers, and other decision makers)
Thorough market and competitor observations
Coordination and support for congresses, events, courses and training
Generating areas for potential synergies in collaboration with employees from the DePuy Synthes Orthopedic department
Close cooperation with the EMEA Marketing Team, the Global Strategic Marketing Team, R&D and employees in other country organizations
Close cooperation with the Supply Chain Department to ensure product availability and mitigate potential risks
Qualifications
Education/training in an orthopedic OR environment or a degree (Uni / FH / ETH)
Proven sales and/or marketing experience (medical products)
Experience in orthopedics / arthroscopic segment advantageous
German and English, fluent in business; French / Italian a plus
Solid MS Office skills
Analytical and strategic abilities with a goal‑oriented approach
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation skills
Communicative and persuasive
Cooperative, team‑oriented and flexible
Creativity and openness to change
Travel: 20–30%
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
