Overview
As a Project Manager for Key Accounts, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing exhibition stand construction and branded environment projects for strategic international clients. You act as the main interface between clients and internal teams, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget. The role combines end-to-end project management with client relationship management, operational excellence, and the delivery of complex exhibition and brand experiences.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring clear and proactive communication with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage projects end-to-end: from concept development to execution of exhibition stands, branded activations, lounges, and client-specific environments.
* Build and maintain long-term client relationships, translating strategic priorities into project deliverables.
* Actively identify upselling opportunities and foster repeat business with key accounts.
* Collaborate with design teams, architects, and suppliers to ensure creative concepts are feasible, cost-effective, modular, and aligned with sustainability goals.
* Prepare and oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with overall fair production milestones.
* Coordinate on-site execution, including build-up, logistics, and handover, ensuring adherence to design intent, branding, and quality standards.
* Identify risks and mitigation strategies early, resolving issues collaboratively and efficiently.
* Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, both internal and external, ensuring accountability and smooth collaboration.
* Align account projects with wider fair production timelines and strategic objectives.
* Ensure accurate and timely project documentation in systems such as IFS, Salesforce, or other tools for budget, timeline, and reporting compliance.
* Conduct post-project evaluations, including client feedback, cost reconciliation, and process improvement recommendations.
* Integrate sustainability and material reuse considerations into all project phases.
* Contribute to internal workshops, process documentation, and onboarding of new team members.
Qualifications
* Education in Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Build, Production Management, Event/Exhibition Management, or equivalent business/technical background
* 5+ years of relevant professional experience in architecture, exhibition stand construction, event production, or project management.
* Experience coordinating with international clients and suppliers is a plus.
* Knowledge of trade fair construction, temporary structures, or event logistics is advantageous.
* Proficiency in viewing AutoCAD layouts and technical drawings.
* Familiarity with digital project management platforms.
* Understanding of B2B tendering and contracting processes.
* Ability to manage multiple budgets, timelines, and technical scopes simultaneously.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Hands on mindset and ability to solve real-time challenges on-site.
* Willingness to travel internationally (up to 3 fairs/year).
