Customs Specialist
Join our global Trade Affairs team and contribute in an international matrix organization. As Customs Specialist at our headquarters in Uzwil, you will collaborate closely with the Trade Affairs core team and support local business units and global subsidiaries in foreign trade and process optimization. Your responsibilities include designing import/export processes, determining product origin (preferential and non-preferential), and advising teams on foreign-trade-related matters. This is where you'll excel
* You advise and support our business units in Uzwil and global subsidiaries on customs matters and contribute to smooth, compliant trade processes
* You handle preferential and non-preferential origin calculations and maintain the required documentation with accuracy and care
* You perform HS/Tares classifications and help ensure global classification rules are applied consistently
* You work closely with internal stakeholders and support projects and audits in the area of foreign trade
* You share your expertise by organizing and delivering training sessions for employees involved in trade processes
These are the skills you'll need
* Completed vocational education in logistics, foreign trade, or a comparable specialization
* Several years of professional experience in customs and international trade, with solid expertise in import and export; experience in an international industrial environment is a plus
* Strong analytical skills combined with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
* Professional working proficiency in German and English
* Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP GTS, MS Office, and other customs software is an advantage
