Ph3Position Summary /h3 pThe National Sales Manager – Distribution Aftermarket is responsible for leading and growing Tecumseh’s distribution and aftermarket business across North America. This role drives revenue growth, channel expansion, customer engagement, and strategic market development for refrigeration and HVACR compressor products, condensing units, replacement parts, and related solutions. The position requires strong commercial leadership, channel management expertise, and deep knowledge of the refrigeration and HVACR aftermarket ecosystem. The successful candidate will partner cross-functionally with product management, operations, customer service, and marketing to execute growth strategies and strengthen Tecumseh’s market position. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Sales Business Growth /h3 ul liDevelop and execute national sales strategies to grow distribution and aftermarket revenue, margin, and market share. /li liLead annual sales planning, forecasting, territory management, and account development activities. /li liIdentify new channel opportunities, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition targets. /li liDrive growth in replacement compressors, condensing units, controls, and aftermarket components. /li liMonitor competitive activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics to recommend commercial actions. /li /ul h3Channel Distributor Management /h3 ul liBuild and maintain strong relationships with national and regional distributors, wholesalers, OEM service channels, and contractor networks. /li liNegotiate annual agreements, rebate programs, pricing structures, and commercial terms. /li liDevelop distributor performance metrics and accountability processes. /li liSupport inventory optimization and channel stocking strategies. /li liConduct regular business reviews with key accounts to align growth initiatives and resolve issues. /li /ul h3Customer Market Development /h3 ul liIncrease contractor and technician preference for Tecumseh aftermarket solutions through targeted engagement initiatives. /li liPartner with marketing to develop promotions, training programs, and demand‑generation campaigns. /li liRepresent Tecumseh at trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and association activities. /li liGather voice‑of‑customer feedback and communicate market needs to internal teams. /li /ul h3Leadership Cross‑Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liCollaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve product availability and customer satisfaction. /li liPartner with finance on forecasting, pricing strategy, and profitability analysis. /li liSupport product management in launch planning and lifecycle management. /li liMentor and develop regional sales resources and independent manufacturer representatives where applicable. /li liDrive a culture of accountability, urgency, and execution excellence. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field preferred. /li liMBA is a plus. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul li7–10+ years of sales leadership experience in HVACR, refrigeration, compressors, aftermarket parts, or industrial distribution. /li liProven success managing national distributor relationships and channel sales strategies. /li liExperience with refrigeration compressors, condensing units, or HVACR systems strongly preferred. /li liDemonstrated ability to grow revenue and improve profitability in a competitive market. /li liExperience leading cross‑functional commercial initiatives. /li /ul h3Skills Competencies /h3 ul liStrong strategic selling and negotiation capabilities. /li liExcellent leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills. /li liFinancial and business acumen with experience managing forecasts and pricing strategies. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. /li liAbility to operate with urgency and drive measurable results. /li liProficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools. /li /ul h3Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) /h3 ul liRevenue growth and market share expansion /li liDistributor sales performance /li liAftermarket profitability and margin improvement /li liForecast accuracy /liliCustomer retention and satisfaction /li liNew account acquisition /li liInventory turns and channel effectiveness /li /ul h3Travel Requirements /h3 ul liApproximately 40–60% travel within North America. /li /ul h3Reporting Structure /h3 ul liReports to: Director of Sales North America /li liDirect Reports: Regional Sales Managers, Manufacturer Representatives, and Technical Support /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
