📌 Job description:
The SLI / RAMS Engineer will provide technical expertise and project support in the fields of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS/SLI) for rolling stock refurbishment projects.
The role includes the production of contractual deliverables, contribution to safety and dependability analyses, and close collaboration with project teams, system engineers, quality teams, and customers
1 RAMS Activities
• Perform or supervise safety and reliability analyses in compliance with railway standards:
o EN 50126
o EN 50128 (50716)
o EN 50129
• Produce RAMS studies including:
o Reliability analyses (FMEA / FMECA, RBD, etc.)
o Maintainability analyses (MTTR calculations, replaceability studies)
o Availability assessments (MOD, RAM modeling)
• Contribute to the development, review, and update of Safety Cases
• Support failure investigations and root cause analyses
• Act as technical interface for RAMS topics with internal stakeholders and external authorities
2 SLI / ILS Activities
• Conduct or update Integrated Logistics Support analyses, including:
o LSA, LCC
o AMDEC Maintenance
o MTA, LORA
o Tools and test equipment
o Spare parts and support equipment
• Contribute to maintenance plan definition and optimization
• Support obsolescence management activities
• Prepare or review maintenance documentation and customer deliverables
3 Project Support
• Participate in technical reviews (Design Reviews, V&V reviews)
• Present analysis results to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Support project risk management from a RAMS / SLI perspective
1 Technical Skills
* Minimum 10 years of experience in RAMS and/or Integrated Logistics Support within railway or guided transport industries
* Strong knowledge of RAMS standards: EN 50126 / 50128 (50716) / 50129
* Proven experience with ILS methodologies: LSA, LCC, MTA, FMECA, LORA
* Solid background in dependability engineering and safety analysis
* Good understanding of railway system architecture (mechanical systems, electronics, onboard signaling)
* Familiarity with RAMS / SLI tools (e.g. Isograph, Reliasoft, PLM platforms)

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize and explain complex technical topics
* High level of autonomy, rigor, and organization
* Strong team spirit and ability to work with multidisciplinary stakeholders
* Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
3 Education
* Master’s degree (Bac+5) or Engineering degree in:
