About the Role Albatross AI is a leading AI Software Engineering Company that drives real-time discovery and search from live user interactions. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer to build, and maintain scalable backend services and deliver high-impact, scalable systems. This role requires deep expertise in distributed systems architecture and hands-on leadership of complex technical initiatives in a data-intensive fintech environment. - Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Go, Node.js (TypeScript), Rust, Python and WebAssembly (WASM) - Own system architecture, including microservices, async integrations, and ETL pipelines - Implement complex business and data-processing logic, including accounting workflows, reporting systems, and financial software integrations - Improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency - Collaborate with CTO, product, and customer-facing teams on solution design - Mentor engineers and establish backend engineering best practices Requirements - Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience - Proven expertise in backend development with Go, Node.js, Rust, Python and WASM - Deep experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and data pipelines - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pieplines, and production deployments - Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives end to end - Experience with accounting or financial software systems - Excellent communication skills in English.
