This is a Luxury 5* hotel, located in a Historic Building, fully refurbished to high standards with amazing lush interior, opening this Summer 2022. The Hotel will have 3 restaurants, one bar together with a variety of social and meeting facilities.
For the Fine Dining restaurant - Modern French cuisine (35-40 covers) using the best local products, best fresh ingredients, offering Tasting Menu, Seasonal Menu, Vegetarian menu we are looking for an Enthusiastic leader for a team of nine people.
As Restaurant Manager- Fine Dining, you will be responsible for the following duties :
Supporting and representing the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage for the service area in the absence and being the contact person for the Restaurant Team
Creation and control of rosters and holiday planning
Guaranteeing smooth and guest-oriented work processes in close cooperation with all the departments of the house
Promoting the development of employees, conducting feedback and appraisal interviews
Coordination of the daily restaurant work to ensure a smooth service process according to our quality standards
Personal care and advice for our guests
Ensuring guest satisfaction with the highest quality standards and professional handling of guest complaints
Innovating and strategizing the guest service and sales opportunities
Project and administrative tasks management
Requirements As Restaurant Manager- Fine Dining, we expect from you:
Completed vocational training in the upscale hotel or catering industry, ideally 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar position
Leadership, organizational skills and the ability to lead a team of employees from different cultures with sensitivity and discipline
Expressiveness, open-mindedness and team spirit
Written and verbal communication skills - guests will come to you with both complaints and positive feedback
High quality awareness and a sense for trends
Good computer skills and knowledge of various cash register systems
Excellent manners and well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma
Resilience and flexibility - your position will include night, weekend and holiday shifts
Very good knowledge of German and English. Additional foreign language skills are an advantage
Important: Suitable candidates will be based in Europe and eligible to work in Switzerland! Salary package: 6,300 CHF/Gross per month x 13 salaries per year
