Mission
The Business Risk Management team plays a key role within the Wealth Management first line of defence. Business Risk Managers (BRM) are the internal referents within Front Office on the subjects of AML, CDB, Risk Appetite and KYC/KYT.
Challenges
As a BRM, your challenges are to:
* Successfully learn and apply the BRM tasks and controls framework.
* Foster, promote and maintain appropriate quality of business deliveries of WM teams with regards to AML, CDB, Risk Appetite, Sanctions, US Nexus, Fiscal and KYT/KYC subjects.
* Actively contribute to the WM Markets awareness on these subjects.
* Adopt a change‑oriented approach, embrace and apply new solutions to enhance the quality and the effectiveness of processes.
Main responsibilities
* Perform thorough reviews of onboarding files (Formal, CDB, AML, KYC, KYT, adverse news screening) prior to Compliance submission, focusing on standard and medium risk prospects/clients.
* Ensure documentary accuracy and completeness of corroborations in adherence to the Bank’s qualitative risk appetite and standards.
* Conduct the onboarding of standard and medium risk clients end‑to‑end.
* Ensure appropriate documentation, review and close all normal and medium risk Transactional alerts clarified by the front office in a timely manner.
* Launch Event‑Driven updates following transactional activity shifts and changes in circumstances in the client life cycle to keep KYC/KYT in line with the client’s activity.
* Escalate any deviations from the Bank’s standards to relevant management and control functions.
* Act as an intermediary between Compliance and WM markets on AML, CDB, Risk Appetite and KYC/KYT subjects.
* Upon Management’s request, act as a relay of authority within the WM Markets on certain initiatives.
* Manage volume of tasks proactively, leveraging management and team collaboration to ensure respect of SLAs and elevated client experience.
* Any other task required by Management relating to the Mission of the employee.
Your Profile
* University degree (Bachelor) or a qualification considered equivalent.
* Preferably a Private Banking, Financial Services Consulting, WM Assistant, or WM Compliance background.
* Min 3 years of experience.
* Strong communication skills with the flexibility to seamlessly interact with different levels of seniority and authority.
* Good command of MS Office suite. Knowledge of Power‑BI is a plus.
* Fluent in French and English. Any additional language skill would be an added value.
* Solution‑oriented team player, capable of working independently.
