Evaluate proposed changes for technical impact, cost, schedule, certification, and regulatory implications. /liliCoordinate change implementation across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and maintenance organizations. /liliManage engineering deviations and approvals. /liliTrack efficiency of changes across units. /li /ulh3Aviation Regulatory Compliance Certification /h3ulliEnsure configuration management processes comply with aviation regulations and airworthiness requirements. /liliSupport FAA, EASA, and other regulatory authority certification activities, including compliance reports. /liliMaintain conformity records to support continued airworthiness. /liliProvide support for audits, internal and external configuration management assessments, and all required documentation for these activities. /li /ulh3Systems Tools Management /h3ulliSupport Product Lifecycle Management system (e.g. Teamcenter). /liliIntegrate configuration data with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) for manufacturing and supply chain. /liliUtilize requirements management tools (e.g. Polarion) to maintain traceability. /liliGenerate configuration reports, metrics, and dashboards for program management. /li /ulh3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3ulliInterface with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, flight test, certification, and program management teams. /liliCoordinate with suppliers on configuration requirements and changes. /liliSupport manufacturing with As Designed and As‑Built configuration management. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ullibEducation: /b Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field. /lilibExperience: /b Proven experience managing product configurations for aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, or aerospace systems. Hands‑on experience with engineering change processes and Configuration Control Boards a must. Minimum 3 years of configuration management experience in the aerospace or aviation industry preferred. Experience supporting aviation certification programs (FAA/EASA) a plus. /lilibSkills: /b Foundational knowledge of configuration management principles, processes, and best practices. Knowledge of engineering drawing standards (ASME Y14.5, ISO standards) a must. Proficiency with PLM and ERP systems integration for BOM management is a must. Working understanding aircraft systems, structures, avionics, and propulsion systems a must. Understanding of aviation regulations, a plus.
