What We’re Looking For
A Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Proven Experience as a General Manager or Hospitality Director within a luxury lifestyle hotel brand, leading operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment demanding visionary leadership and bold decision-making.
Proven track record in commercial strategy, financial performance, and multi-departmental hotel operations.
Swiss nationality or the legal right to work in Switzerland, with dynamic experience in the country’s high-performance hospitality landscape.
In-depth knowledge of Swiss hospitality regulations and compliance standards, with hands-on experience navigating local employment frameworks and industry protocols.
Exceptional skills in improving customer satisfaction and driving profitability, with a commitment to industry-leading standards.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, capable of inspiring the FIVE Tribe to new heights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
A proactive nature with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of operations is well-curated.
A hands-on attitude with a true “can-do” spirit.
Key Responsibilities
Champion every facet of hotel operations, serving as the face of the FIVE Zurich journey across rooms, nightlife, food and beverage, and wellness experiences.
Elevate every touchpoint of the guest journey with immersive and high-energy experiences.
Spearhead internal projects and innovation initiatives in partnership with department leaders, keeping FIVE Zurich at the forefront of luxury.
Curate and execute disruptive sales and marketing strategies to amplify FIVE Zurich’s visibility locally and internationally.
Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing revenue across all departments.
Strategically oversee labor, supplier partnerships, and property-level spend with cost-control initiatives driving bottom-line impact.
Collaborate with ownership and the group executive leadership team to align performance, profitability and cultural leadership with growth objectives.
Lead proactive risk and crisis management protocols with best-in-class emergency response procedures to protect the FIVE brand.
Ensure strict adherence to Swiss hospitality regulations, including employment law, safety protocols, and operational standards.
Cultivate a magnetic workplace culture by energising team members, leading performance development, and retaining talent across FIVE Zurich.
