Microcaps is an ETH Zurich spin-off founded in March 2019. Our unique technology allows us to produce highly precise and innovative microcapsules that empower materials to unlock new capabilities; all tailored to various markets from cosmetics to nutraceutical and pharma.
Our first commercialized products are now on the market and include cosmetic skin serum and encapsulated fine fragrance. Quality Control Technician, 100%
As Quality Control Technician you will ensure that Microcaps products meet established quality standards and customer requirements through comprehensive testing and inspection procedure. This position requires analytical skills, attention to detail and understanding of quality control procedures and testing methods used in cosmetic manufacturing.

Tasks
* Quality control of Incoming Goods, Intermediates, Bulks, and Finished Goods
* Performing of quality control measurements using basic laboratory equipment but also visual and sensory evaluation
* Document review of manufacturing protocols and weighing protocols
* Documenting your measurements and findings in a LIMS
* Contributing to the product release process
* In case of OOS, support Root Cause Analysis and CAPAs
Requirements
* Laboratory skills like pH-, density-, refractive index- and viscosity-measurements
* Excellent IT skills to work with MS 365 tools but also a LIMS and ERP; Great computer literacy
* Great attention to details
* Ability and enjoyment of self-organization and creating a highly organized environment within your area of responsibility
* You are a natural communicator and are able to understand the needs of a dynamic team with ease
* Work permit in Switzerland required, fluent in English and German
