In this demanding and stimulating context, we are looking for an Engineer specialized in Process Safety, to lead technical risk management activities and actively participate in the site's EHS strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to evolve at the heart of industrial risk management challenges, while contributing to site transformation projects and investments in new equipment.
About the role
* You will be the site's Process Safety referent, in a demanding regulatory environment (OPAM site).
* You will contribute to the design of tomorrow's equipment, in direct contact with the project, engineering, maintenance and production teams.
* You will support the development of a robust safety culture, by strengthening governance and skills on process risks (powders, flammable liquids, ATEX, electrostatic discharge, asphyxiation, etc.).
* You will be a source of proposals on loss prevention and emergency response plans, while overseeing audits and associated KPIs.
Your main missions
Process safety (priority)
* Deploy the site's Process Safety governance and guarantee regulatory compliance (Haleon standards, Swiss requirements, FM Global).
* Carry out or coordinate risk analyses: HAC, PHIRA, ATEX study, etc.
* Define mitigation plans, monitor their implementation and measure their effectiveness.
* Participate in investment projects as a Process Safety expert.
* Train and support internal teams and subcontractors.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation (SOPs, plans, procedures).
* Track PS KPIs.
Emergency Response and Loss Prevention
* Be the referent for fire prevention and coordination of the internal intervention team.
* Guarantee the availability of resources, the training of stakeholders and the relevance of scenarios.
* Manage audits and improvement plans.
General EHS Support (Secondary)
* Contribute to risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement actions within your scope.
* Be an active member of the EHS team: safety culture, support for managers, cross-functional projects.
Desired profile
* Degree in engineering, industrial hygiene, or related technical discipline.
* Recognized training in process safety.
* 3+ years of experience in industry (chemical, pharma or regulated environment).
* Knowledge of Swiss standards (OPAM), process risk analysis methods and FM Global standards.
* Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, spirit of initiative and sense of rigor.
