We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled Sales Operations Professional to join Explora Journeys. Become a key member of the Global Sales Operations team, where you will lead, enhance, and implement processes to drive sales excellence, elevate the brand experience, and maximize profitability. This role is based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Your Impact
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer in Explora Journeys, the Manager of E-Commerce B2B:
* Drives MSC Cruises B2B digital sales strategy, enhances online presence and automation, and expands cruise reach within the B2B cruise industry to maximize revenue, build strong partnerships, and enhance the overall customer experience for Travel agents B2B clients.
* Oversees B2B proprietary stores in a unique platform used by travel agents in different countries to book cruises for their clients (ETAC) and develops/maintains the Family & Friends website for private sales to employees, close family, and friends.
* Manages B2B not proprietary channels, mainly OTAs and GDS digital technology partners, gathering partner needs and defining requirements for improvements to the API layer and cruise cache.
* Acts as the global point of reference for local markets on all B2B digital questions and supports the local execution of the sales strategy across B2B digital channels.
* Collaborates with: revenue, commercial services, contact centre, trade marketing, digital technology, and IT to ensure accurate itineraries, pricing, fare rules, and channel capacity; maintain ETAC and related tools; plan evolution and API/Cache development.
* Data Analytics, A/B Testing & CRO: uses data analytics, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization to inform decisions, track KPIs, and drive UX and platform improvements.
* Partnership Development: identifies and establishes strategic partnerships with online travel agencies, GDS partners, and other B2B stakeholders to expand the global distribution network.
* Manages the GDS global partnership under a commercial contract and related booking fees budget.
* Budget Management: develops and manages the ecommerce budget to achieve business objectives.
* Compliance: stays up to date with industry regulations and ensures ecommerce platform adherence to legal and compliance standards.
Your Journey so far
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing with a track record of success in B2B digital sales.
* Master / Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing with advanced certification in this related field.

* Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
* Deep understanding of the cruise industry or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, tools, and technologies.
* Knowledge of API and Cache logics
* Creative and strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset.
* Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Passion for ecommerce and all related digital fields.
