We're currently recruiting a Senior Consultant to support the Global Fund's efforts in strengthening collaborative surveillance systems across several pilot countries. This role is part of a strategic initiative to advance integrated surveillance for HIV, TB, and malaria, aligned with WHO's latest frameworks. The assignment is impactful and intellectually stimulating - combining strategic thinking, technical expertise, and country-level engagement. It's a 6-month consultancy in Geneva, with close collaboration across Global Fund teams and key partners.
Responsibilities
 * develop the HIV, Tuberculosis and malaria (HTM) integration domain in the surveillance MM including an assessment tool for the HTM-EWS domain.
 * co-lead implementation in at least four "pilot" countries including MM application, assessment of maturity, gaps, and prioritized recommendations for integration and strengthening; and
 * lead drafting of report.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in epidemiology or other public health-related field with strong background in communicable disease surveillance;
Medical degree with advanced training in applied epidemiology focused on early warning surveillance, outbreak detection and response, i.e. Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP), Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS), etc.
