PNRC Geneva is looking for an experienced Finance Technical Officer with solid knowledge of Swiss accounting standards and VAT rules to ensures accurate and compliant day-to-day accounting, support grant financial and fiscal reporting for the office in Geneva in full respect of Swiss law, Swiss GAAP, donor regulations and internal financial procedures. /ph3strongWhat you will do: /strong /h3pWorking closely with the NRC Geneva Head of Support and the Finance Manager, your main roles and responsibilities will be: /pulliPerform daily bookkeeping and posting of financial transactions in the accounting software (Unit4). /liliProcess accounts payable: control supplier invoices, execute payments (domestic and international), ensure correct cost allocation. /liliHandle all VAT-related obligations, including preparation and submission of VAT returns, reconciliation of VAT accounts, and ensuring compliance with Swiss VAT regulations. /liliPrepare monthly bank and balance-sheet reconciliations. /liliSupport monthly and annual closing processes and contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts under Swiss GAAP.
