You will design and build a sensor integration prototype on a Raspberry Pi for a client in the early stages of hardware product development. The core task is connecting and fusing data from multiple sensors, connecting the single-board computer to a Wi-Fi network, and ensuring the system is stable enough. You will collaborate closely with a hardware engineer who has already selected the sensor components, and you will take ownership of the software side.
You will work partly on-site in Stäfa and partly remotely, adapting quickly as the hardware setup evolves. Your output will be a functional prototype that demonstrates multi-sensor data fusion over Wi-Fi – a key milestone for the client's product roadmap.
Requirements
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi or similar single-board computers
Proficiency in Python for embedded/hardware projects
Ability to work independently
