As a Brand Account Manager Rheumatology, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional performance and results in assigned territories. You will be responsible for differentiating AbbVie's value proposition to all healthcare providers, proactively understanding customer needs, and creating win-win situations.


About the Role

* Deliver expected performance and beyond in assigned territory (Sales),
* Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition to all healthcare providers,
* Proactively and continuously aspire to understand real customer needs, lead to a solution and create a win-win situation,
* Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives, effectively evaluate and document sales calls,
* Identify, develop and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates,
* Utilize innovative approaches and resources to gain access to 'difficult to see' customers,
* Continuously strive to gain market intelligence: insights into customer needs, expectations and environmental challenges,
* Develop and maintain in-depth disease, product, market and competitive intelligence expertise,
* Constantly seek opportunities and act on them to grow existing accounts and open new ones,
* Develop a cycle journey plan that optimizes own as well as In Field Team/Brand Team resources to defined key customers, act on it and constantly track progress,
* Continuously analyze sales reports and field intelligence and derive appropriate measures,
* Accurately identify customer position on sales cycle; effectively target and track resources to maximize sales opportunities,
* Understand market challenges and identify business opportunities; deploy existing value-adding solutions to customers or drive the development of new tailored solutions,
* Consistently achieve set call metrics to maximize sales,
* Adhere to industry and AbbVie compliance requirements while managing the territory,
* Share relevant insights and best practices to the In-Field and Brand Team,
* Network in the In-Field Team to ensure support from other in-field roles or other identified roles within the organization to best address customer challenges,
* Mentor new Sales Representatives to enhance collaborative ways of working in the In-Field Team.


Requirements

* Primary degree in science/nursing preferable,
* Fluency in English both written and verbal,
* Relevant industry sales experience,
* Practical knowledge and understanding of customer/disease area requirements,
* In-depth product, therapeutic and competitive knowledge,
* Proficiency in the use of business tools,
* Industry and local market situation,
* Policies, protocols and political environment that may affect the work of assigned stakeholders.
