Job Overview
We’re seeking a highly talented and motivated senior developer to join our ServiceNow team. As a key contributor to the implementation and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform, including Employee Center, you will have the opportunity to tackle technical challenges and collaborate closely with our IT service desk, human resources, and finance departments. This role involves mentoring our development team based in Switzerland.

ServiceNow Plattform & Architecture
2. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with the project team to gather and analyze complex business requirements, transforming them into scalable technical solutions on the ServiceNow Platform
3. Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, modules, forms, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow Platform
4. Advanced Configuration: Configure and customize core ServiceNow modules to meet enterprise-wide business needs
Employee Center & Digital Employee Experience
5. Employee Center Design & Enablement: Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow Employee Center, including pages, widgets, content structures, and topic-based navigation
6. UX & Adoption: Enhance employee self-service experiences by aligning the Employee Center with HR, IT, and Finance processes, ensuring intuitive journeys and high adoption rates
7. Portal Governance: Ensure consistency, performance, and maintainability across Employee Center configurations and extensions
Integration & Automation
8. Integration: Design and maintain sophisticated integrations with other systems and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and ServiceNow APIs
9. Scripting and Automation: Create and optimize client-side and server-side JavaScript to automate complex processes and enhance both platform and Employee Center user experience
Reporting, Security & Operations
10. Reporting and Dashboards: Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track platform usage, performance, and service adoption
11. Security: Implement and maintain advanced ServiceNow security best practices, including roles, ACLs, data separation, and encryption
12. Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation covering Plattform, Employee Center configurations, and custom developments
13. Testing: Perform unit, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure reliability and quality
14. Upgrades and Maintenance: Promote update sets, manage upgrades, patches, and enhancements, and troubleshoot complex production issues
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to our junior developers and contribute to the growth and development of the ServiceNow team
Qualifications
15. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or proven software development experience
16. ServiceNow certification(s), such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist, is a plus
17. Extensive experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
18. Deep knowledge of web services, REST APIs, SOAP, and integration patterns
19. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work self-organized and independently
20. Advanced problem-solving skills
21. You are reliable, trustworthy, and a team player
22. Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
Experience
23. 4+ years of experience in developing and configuring advanced ServiceNow solutions, or similar
24. Proven experience in advanced ServiceNow development or similar complex process automation (such as Salesforce)
25. Strong understanding of IT- Service Management (ITSM) and broader enterprise service management practices
