Commercial Account Manager

* The primary objective of this role is to manage commercial accounts effectively, working closely with an account director to develop and maintain a strong portfolio of clients.

Sales and Activity Management:

* Responsible for identifying and meeting the insurance needs of clients, including securing renewals, handling mid-year alterations, and claims management in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
* Achieve individual income targets by providing exceptional customer service and consistently delivering results-driven solutions.
* Collaborate with Account Directors to provide comprehensive support to clients, addressing their queries and requirements as needed.
* Meet sales targets through proactive upselling and cross-selling strategies, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
* Adhere to agreed-upon processes and procedures in all aspects of the role.
* Maintain accurate records of aged debt and premium collection, ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancies.
* Comply with all audit requirements, guaranteeing transparency and accountability in financial transactions.

* Foster strong, trust-based relationships with clients by actively listening to their needs, sharing valuable insights, and consistently meeting expectations.

* Partner with compliance teams and managers to guarantee adherence to prescribed standards in file documentation and record-keeping practices.

Requirements:

* Possess a minimum APA qualification, with a strong inclination towards pursuing CIP certification.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
* Exhibit a positive attitude, displaying adaptability and resilience in response to changing circumstances.
* Display meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in work output and compliance with regulations.

Person Specification:

* Possess a CIP qualification (preferable).
* Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Open I (advantageous).
