About the Opportunity:
One of our clients who are a Geneva‑based global commodities trading firm operating primarily in the energy sector are seeking an Accountant, who is familiar with Swiss reporting requirements and who has a background in energy commodity trading.
Key Requirement:
* Strong experience in commodities trading
* Good understanding of Swiss Reporting Requirements
Responsibilities:
* Handle daily accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
* Maintain accurate records for trades, inventories, costs, and hedging entries.
* Prepare financial reports, P&L summaries, and support audits.
* Coordinate with trading, operations, and risk to ensure accurate financial data.
