Consultant - Private Markets Investor Relations & Business Development
A global investment advisory and asset management firm, managing and advising on approximately $370 billion in assets is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Pan-Alternatives team in Zurich.
This team plays a key role in developing and managing relationships with a broad spectrum of institutional investors, including pension funds, foundations, insurance firms, family offices, and wealth management platforms. The role combines client relationship management with strategic business development, utilising the firm’s global capabilities to deliver tailored investment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead business development initiatives across German‑speaking markets.
* Manage cross‑functional projects involving research, legal, compliance, and client operations.
* Maintain and monitor pipelines for prospective clients and engagement activities.
* Prepare proposals, strategic plans, pacing analyses, and client presentations.
* Identify new business opportunities and build targeted outreach lists.
Key Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in alternative investments, with a focus on private markets and product development preferred.
* Established network within the institutional investor community in German‑speaking regions.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly organised, self‑driven, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
* Proficient in Excel and other analytical tools.
* Fluent in both German and English, with excellent writing skills in both languages.
