The global Business Development Team Drug Delivery Systems is looking for a talented new team member.
Responsibilities You drive growth for high-value solutions in our business segment Drug Delivery Systems by identifying and acquiring new customers and supporting and developing new projects at existing customers.
You are responsible for the achievement of segment specific commercial and strategic goals within your area of responsibility.
You secure long-term relationships with our customers at various levels and functions, play a vital role in recognizing their needs and requirements and provide value-added, technical expertise.
You develop in-depth market intelligence for your own area of responsibility and use this knowledge to devise and execute lead generation projects.
You participate in appropriate tradeshows and seminars to enhance SCHOTT branding and build a strong network in the pharmaceutical industry.
Your Profile You have a Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree in Science (Bioscience, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics), Engineering or Business Administration.
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in Business Development (technical or sales-related) within an international B2B organization. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is beneficial.
You are a proactive team player with strong communication skills and maintain a structured working methodology also in a fast-paced environment.
You are persistent in achieving your goals and pair commercial skills with a strong technical mindset.
You enjoy working in a truly global team with internal and external stakeholders across multiple different functions.
You are fluent in English and German.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.
