About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative
Lead Data Scientist
to lead our data science initiatives in Switzerland. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that drive business decisions and optimize outcomes.
You will lead a team of data scientists and analysts, collaborating with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Finance, and IT to deliver actionable insights and predictive models that support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of data scientists and analysts in designing and implementing data-driven solutions.
* Develop and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytics techniques.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
* Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity.
* Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation.
* Communicate insights, recommendations, and results to stakeholders through visualizations and presentations.
* Mentor and train junior data scientists and analysts.
* Stay current with emerging data science technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
* Contribute to the development of the company's data strategy and AI roadmap.
Qualifications
* Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning, with leadership experience.
* Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.
* Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost, etc.).
* Proficiency in SQL, big data tools (Hadoop, Spark), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical modeling skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Fluent in
English
