As a systems architect, you will take on the technical leadership in the development of optical consumer products (e.g., multifunctional observation devices). You will act as a link between different disciplines and ensure that performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness go hand in hand.
* System Architecture & Design: Defining the system architecture for optical products. They translate customer needs and product requirements into comprehensive, technical system specifications.
* Technical Management: You lead the technical definition and roadmap for complex optical systems and are the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle.
* Integration: Management of system integration, taking into account the requirements from optics, mechanics, electronics and software/firmware.
* Interface management: Specification and validation of system interfaces in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Industrialization: Collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing teams to advance the industrialization and quality assurance of the products.
* Innovation: They observe current trends and innovations in optical science and technology and incorporate them into our development.
Your profile
You are a team player with excellent communication skills and analytical thinking abilities, who feels comfortable in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Education: Master\'s degree in physics, optics or a related engineering field (ETH, FH or comparable).
* Experience: At least 3 years of sound professional experience in optical product development and system architecture (preferably in the consumer environment).
* Expertise: Experience with binoculars or laser rangefinders is a major advantage. You are familiar with modern development methods.
* Languages: Fluent German and English skills are mandatory.
