In this technical sales role (i.e., Presales engineer), you will help customers design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures that support their SAP modernization goals. You will guide organizations through migration, modernization, and optimization strategies related to SAP — translating technical capabilities into significant business outcomes. You will collaborate across teams to deliver impactful solutions that enhance agility, reduce costs, and unlock value.
As a Cloud & AI Solution Engineer for the Azure Platform focusing primarily on our customers\' SAP transformation, you will play a key role in helping customers modernize their SAP related infrastructure and applications and unlock the full value of Microsoft\'s cloud. You will work directly with technical and business stakeholders and closely with SAP and joint partners. You bring deep expertise in migrating core workloads - including SAP — to Azure and are familiar with how the Microsoft cloud can support our customers\' SAP transformation from a security perspective to the Joule / CoPilot integration. You will have opportunities to grow technical expertise with Microsoft learning resources, including certifications across Azure infrastructure, security, and AI. With a solid understanding of Azure security services and compliance frameworks you will help customers meet regulatory requirements and build Cloud environments that are ready for the future.

Responsibilities
* Get technical win for the portfolio of Cloud services you are in charge of.
* Create and maintain the right tension to ensure velocity of project decisions, delivery & implementation by customers & partners
* Drive technical sales by using technical demos, proofs of concept, and technical architecture accelerators to influence solution design and enable deployments.
* Lead architecture sessions and technical workshops to accelerate Azure adoption.
* Build trusted relationships with platform leads to co-design secure, scalable solutions.
* Resolve technical blockers by collaborating with engineering and sharing customer insights.
* Maintain expertise in cloud migration, resiliency, security, and compliance.
* Deepen knowledge of enterprise apps, especially SAP
* Represent Microsoft in customer forums and technical communities through thought leadership.
Qualifications
* Several years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
* Master\'s OR Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND some years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience
* Proven experience in SAP technology and cloud infrastructure
* Experience designing or selling solutions involving hybrid networking, secure connectivity, or network performance optimization in enterprise environments
* Strong understanding of Azure services, including security, compliance, and hybrid cloud scenarios
* Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders to design and deploy scalable, secure cloud solutions
