Your future role
As a VIE based in the train testing depot you will participate in the testing phase of the ICNG project to ensure successful service and interact with the local operational team. You will be incorporated into the System Engineering team for functional systems, such as Doors, Heating Ventilation AC, Passenger Information, Driver’s Desk, and more, to:
Carry out the test of trains in accordance with the testing procedure and as per the delivery schedule.
Understand and report critical issues that may affect the reliability growth.
Support the Alstom products performance by detecting and solving critical issues to meet the expected reliability target.
As part of an international team, a very good level of English (written and spoken) is requested.
Testing & Commissionning
Understand in detail the Acceptance Criteria of the customer for the Project/Product.
Respect with rigor the test procedures.
Ensure that all Serial Test Procedures are covered and the completion of test reports.
Manage the repair of failures as soon as they appear.
Trace with precision and rigor each failure.
In case of unsolved deviations, elevate to the EPU Test Manager.
Propose improvement of the process.
Work in a team spirit and transparency with the shift and the other shift.
Ensure interface and perfect working relationship with Test Engineering Technician, Industrial Quality.
Escalate any non-up-to-date testing tools.
Measure and monitor KPIs and performance on the respective KPIs.
Responsibilities Reliability / Availability / Maintenability
Understand in detail the Acceptance Criteria of the reliability at train level and system level for the Project/Product.
Support other stakeholders (design, industrial, sourcing, validation, etc.) in defining appropriate measures to meet reliability actions.
Define issue responsibility, failure mode and possible root causes via data analysis from Alstom monitoring system (HealthHub) and logs from subsystem. Detect patterns and occurrences that have critical impact on reliability.
Contribute to the analysis of field‑identified issues (8D) that have a significant impact on product reliability performance, and support resolution outcomes.
All About You
Minimum degree in engineering or equivalent (scholarship in Railway Industry is a plus).
1-2 years’ experience in industrial activities related to electrical, control, onboard communications, or network systems.
Knowledge of IT tools and smart devices.
Familiarity with high‑risk activities associated with electrical work and EHS requirements.
Strong technical level in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and network domains.
Result‑driven mindset with problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
Proficiency in programming (AI, Python, VBS, Excel, Power‑BI) highly appreciated.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Fluent in English.
