About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Actuarial Analyst to join our Centre of Excellence (CoE) within Group Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T). The CoE team is the knowledge powerhouse within the Swiss Re platform transformation program. In this role, you’ll gain in‑depth knowledge of IFRS valuation and modelling, the basis for steering the company, including planning, pricing, reserving, and asset‑liability management. You will also be exposed to group strategic decisions by contributing to economic and accounting impact assessment.
Responsibilities
* Support the GFO&T Center of Excellence Valuations team as the primary contact point for internal stakeholders on IFRS financial reporting matters, providing expert guidance and support.
* Develop capabilities and strengthen governance over multi‑valuation tools.
* Review and ensure accurate implementation of IFRS in our financial systems.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to global projects, enhancing the effectiveness of our financial operations.
* Support the IFRS and SST accounting production teams during peak times and assist the accounting production of large and complex transactions.
Qualifications
* University degree in Economics, Finance, Actuarial Science or related field.
* Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in financial or actuarial concepts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration.
* A curious, flexible approach to problem‑solving.
* A proactive team player who contributes positively to team dynamics.
* Self‑assured and articulate, with confidence to communicate effectively in both one‑on‑one and group settings.
* Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
* Savviness to master coding and adopt usage of large language models.
* Actuarial or accounting qualification is an advantage.
* Experience on insurance valuations (IFRS, USG or other) is a plus.
* Patience and aptitude for detail, with a sense of the bigger picture.
Salary & Benefits
For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 77 000 CHF and 115 000 CHF for a full‑time role.

* the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role
* the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills, and experience
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance‑based annual bonus.
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
