Training Program Manager
As a Training Program Manager you will drive the development and delivery of high-quality, compliant training programs that build critical capabilities across our engine MRO operations.
Your tasks
Design, maintain and continuously improve competency-based training programs for technical and operational roles
Translate regulatory, OEM and operational requirements into structured learning paths and curricula
Define training standards, documentation, and governance mechanisms ensuring audit-ready compliance for all trainings
Oversee the translation of program frameworks into deliverable learning solutions, ensuring trainers, SMEs, and shared services have the required inputs and standards
Manage delivery of classroom, hands-on and On-Job-Training activities
Monitor training KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and HR to align training with business needs
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, in Business, Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, Education, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation MRO, technical training, regulatory training or program management preferred.
Proven senior level project or program manager competence, ideally in a regulated environment.
Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks (EASA Part 145, FAA, OEM) preferred and willingness to learn about engine maintenance processes, authorization / certification requirements, and deepen technical knowledge.
Experience with training program design, competency models or LMS platforms is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent English skills (C1) required; German skills (B1) desired.
Eligibility: applicants must hold an EU passport, Swiss passport or have a Swiss work permit due to Swiss immigration regulations.
