The “Battery Systems” group of our “Sustainable Energy” Business Unit
based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, is currently looking for a Battery System Engineer.
Your mission
The battery system engineer supports the battery system team by designing, commissioning, and testing high-voltage battery systems. This includes commercial products as well as our internal zBMS platform.
Your Responsibilities
1. System integration and realization of battery systems demonstrators up to 100 kW and 800 V
2. Modeling and simulation of battery/energy systems based on Python, Matlab, or similar tools
3. System-level analysis, including functional prototype verification, and documentation
4. Standard-conform validation of developed prototype systems
Your profile
Knowledge
* MSc/PhD in Engineering with at least 5 years of practical experience
* Experience in high-voltage and high-power system design
* Knowledge of battery standards and associated testing and validation protocols
* Experience in prototyping power systems up to 100 kW and 800 V
* Experience with testing and validation using laboratory equipment
* Implementation and configuration of communication protocols
* Professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
