2. You create, develop, and optimize FE models using commercial simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS)
3. You assess component fatigue life using dedicated software (e.g. FEMFAT) and support design optimization
4. You analyze engine components like gears, spline shafts, bolted connections, torsional vibration dampers, etc. with dedicated tools
5. You optimize components with respect to weight, stiffness, strength, and fatigue performance
6. You define experimental validation approaches, analyze test results, and correlate simulation models
7. You evaluate simulation results and prepare clear and structured calculation reports
8. You coordinate and technically follow up on externally performed calculations
9. You develop, maintain, and automate calculation tools (Excel spreadsheets, pre-/post-processing tools, Python scripts, etc.)
10. You contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of simulation processes and workflows
Your Profile
11. You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical field
12. You ideally have professional experience in structural or simulation engineering
13. You have hands-on experience in the calculation and analysis of machine elements (e.g. gears, bolted connections)
14. You have solid hands-on experience with FEM methods and commercial simulation software
15. You have good knowledge of material behavior and fatigue analysis
16. You can work autonomously and manage your tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills
