Job Description We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Infrastructure & Facilities Technician to join our Campus Services – Building Infrastructure team in Gland. This role plays a key part in maintaining, evolving, and securing critical technical environments, including Data Center infrastructure and building technical systems. The position requires strong operational expertise combined with the ability to contribute to infrastructure evolution and technical decision-making. Key Responsibilities Data Center Infrastructure Operations Install, rack, cable, and decommission servers, network equipment, and infrastructure components Perform structured cabling (copper & fiber optic), including high-density and new-generation fiber systems Execute hardware upgrades, replacements, and technical modifications within the Data Center Perform network and power patching (including controlled power distribution environments) Ensure accurate infrastructure documentation, asset tracking, and physical mapping (DCIM or equivalent systems) Coordinate and supervise third-party interventions in secure areas Enforce strict access control and security procedures Contribute to capacity planning and infrastructure scalability Critical Power & Technical Systems Support and maintain electrical infrastructure related to Data Center environments, including: Three-phase power distribution Load balancing principles UPS and power redundancy systems Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance of: Cooling systems (HVAC / CVC) Electrical distribution systems Fire detection Physical security systems Infrastructure Evolution & Governance Depending on experience and seniority, the role may include: Participation in technical design reviews Contribution to infrastructure upgrade planning and budget estimations Participation in risk assessments related to critical infrastructure Proposing optimization and improvement initiatives Supporting compliance alignment with standards such as ISO 27001 and EN 50600 (or equivalent best practices)
