Your role
Are you keen on working in a world‑class Cyber Security Operations Center for one of the best Swiss private banks? Do you have related experience, the right attitude, and a desire to learn how to defend an enterprise against cyber‑attacks? We are seeking a shift‑based Cyber Monitoring Analyst to perform continuous monitoring, analysis and initial response to cyber alerts as part of our 24/7/365 cyber defense team.
Responsibilities
* Perform continuous cyber monitoring, analysis and initial response to cyber alerts.
* Analyze malware to identify its behaviour, assess impact and mitigate accordingly.
* Process cyber intelligence in the form of IOCs and wider TTP reports.
* Triage alerts from IDS, malware protection systems, AV and EDR.
* Recommend tuning or improvement of detection and mitigation capabilities.
* Work with sandboxing and endpoint technologies for intrusion investigations.
* Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
* Operate in a 24/7/365 model.
Team & Location
You will be working in the 24x7 Cyber Security Operations Center team based in Zurich. The team spans Switzerland, the USA and Singapore and focuses on pro‑active defense capabilities supported by active intelligence consumption.
Qualifications & Expertise
* Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, AD, cloud, networking, RegEx, correlation rules, Windows/Linux and associated protocols and tools.
* Ability to analyze and investigate various logs.
* Experience working in Technical Operational Teams.
* Understanding of IT security, networks and the cyber threat landscape.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and synthesizing skills.
* Positive attitude and interest in learning new skills.
* Industry‑recognized cyber security certifications (CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, SANS GIAC) are a huge benefit.
* Self‑driven, passionate about Cyber Security.
* Team‑player, ownership mindset, innovative, creative and initiative‑driven.
* Good under pressure, able to translate client/stakeholder needs into services.
* Fluent in English.
